collaboration and expression of friendship melded together to form beautiful and
colorful pieces of artwork each in it's own distinct style. Artists Jordan
Newberry and Karin Gorboff, each display a heartwarming love of nature,
serenity, beauty and imagination in their individual paintings.
Western North Carolina has an abundance of subjects to photograph and paint.
The beauty of this area never tires artists alike. The subject matter offered in
this area varies from beautiful wildlife, majestic mountain scenery, glistening
waterfalls, floral beauty to imaginative forms of abstract and impressionistic
displays of this region.
Jordan and her husband, Mike, moved from Colorado in 2008 and became next door
neighbors to Karin, a
Bed & Breakfast owner in Franklin, NC, unbeknownst
that they both were artists. As the friendship grew, they found
they had many things in common but the "love of art" was the common denominator.
In the spring of 2011, Jordan and her husband relocated to Boise, ID as Mike job
took them there. Now separated by more the 2400 miles, when the occasion &
time permits, Karin and Jordan still have their art sessions together...HOW? via
